If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and wish to advanced your career and possibly double the amount of money you earn each year, then you should consider going back to nursing school and earning your Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN). If you do not wish to earn your BSN degree, then you may also want to consider earning an Associates degree in nursing that will allow you to become an RN. Before you choose the later option of only earning an Associates degree keep in mind that a significant number of RNs who did not complete their BSN degree go back to school later in their career to go from an RN to BSN.
